Greetings,
With cooler weather and shorter days, we know that the holiday season is nearing.
FedEx and UPS have notified us that supply chain issues will cause significant delivery delays during the next few months. We are doing all we can to prepare for a busy holiday season, but we also need your help to ensure you receive each Sunday bulletin for distribution.
In an effort to offset shipping delays and try to ensure all of your parishioners have a bulletin in hand each Sunday, we are highly recommending two steps of action.
- Submit your bulletin sooner (By submitting your bulletin one or more days sooner, you will have a buffer in the event that UPS or FedEx are unable to deliver your package on time.)
- Supply a residential delivery address (Typically, UPS and FedEx do not require a signature if delivered to a residential address. This can help ensure that your package is left even if there is no one available at the parish to sign for it.)
With unpredictable circumstances not in our control, we can not guarantee Friday delivery, but the above strategic steps will all but ensure the likelihood of success.
If your bulletin usually takes one day to deliver, expect it to take two or more days during the coming weeks.
We are increasing our production capacity on Mondays to help ensure that bulletins sent to us on Monday are printed and shipped that same day. But to be effective, this will require you to submit your bulletin one or more days earlier than usual. We will also be operating on a “first-in, first-out” basis. Therefore, the first church to submit its bulletin will be the first church to be processed.
Again, to avoid holiday delivery delays expected by the major carriers, please do the following:
- Submit your bulletin sooner
- Supply a residential delivery address
Thank you very much for working with us to ensure your parishioners have bulletins available on Sun-days over this holiday season. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 1-800-994-9817.
We pray that your parish family has a very blessed and joyful holiday season and a Merry Christmas
