How to post Batch Pledges

  • Go to Contributions > Batch Pledges
  • In the top right, click NEW BATCH
  • Add a Batch Date, Batch Description and the Fund the pledge will go towards, then click SAVE
  • Similar to Batch Contributions, the left side is where you fill in the pledge information, and the added pledges will appear on the right side
  • The number of payments field can be chosen from the dropdown or a custom number of payments can be typed in manually
  • If you get half way through and need to step away, you can click SAVE at any time and the batch will be saved and you can close out of Camino and come back later
  • The number of pledges entered, the total dollar amount pledged (Pledge Rows), and the total dollar amount of payments (Contributions) is listed at the top of the right side
  • NOTE: A down payment is not recognized as a contribution. To recognize the contribution it will need to be enered at the bottom of the screen with the checkbox Contribution Included
  • If a contribution is included in the pledge (down payment) scroll down until you see the ‘Is a contribution included’ checkbox. Fields will then populate for you to enter a contribution towards the pledge
  • When finished POST, DOWNLOAD REPORT, or DELETE the batch
